Previous employment includes two years working as a landscape architect for a specialist company, focusing on planning cost-effective schemes with maximum biodiversity for mineral sites pre- and post-restoration. She was also responsible site surveys, visual impact assessments and for planting schemes for residential developments.
Sarah was Head Gardener at the Duke of Westminster’s Highland estates for several years before relocating to study for her Landscape Management MA at Sheffield University.
Her educational background includes an intensive three-year National Trust Careership training apprenticeship, covering all areas of horticulture, but specialising in historic landscape restoration. She also has a sound knowledge, qualifications and experience of design in design software.
