Maureen Stafford

Maureen Stafford is highly experienced in many areas of training for the quarry industry, including environmental training, continuous improvement, health and safety, and plant operation.

She runs courses in a number of areas, ranging from the operation and maintenance of heavy mobile plant, such as excavators, wheel loaders, and dump trucks, to traffic management and team-building.

For Pongwe Quarry (TWIGA Cement Tanzania) she is currently providing training in face operations and inspections, yellow fleet preventative maintenance, eco training and traffic management.

For Beposo Quarry (GHACEM Cement Ghana), she is providing training in the same fields, along with training in continuous improvement (brain-storming, team-building and plant operation).

Maureen is currently studying for a master’s degree in environmental management, and doing a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). She is also a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and a PIEMA-certified practitioner for the environment and sustainability at operational level.
